Early Childhood Development
Children develop 80% of their intelligence before the age of 6 years. This intellectual development is driven by stimulation, nutrition and a favourable environment. Our Ekujabuleni Day Care Centre at Lily of the Valley provides children with daily meals, safe care and educational games.
Of the 180 children currently enrolled at Ekujabuleni, 160 travel in daily from the adjoining communities of Mophela and Sankontshe. These children are cared for by trained ECD teachers and given a healthy, balanced meal daily.
